Johnson
Irrigation - Computerized, automated Christmas lights set to music
Last year we managed to raise $2,110.03, all of which was donated to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation. 100% the money we raise goes to the MCHF. The lights, computers, and hydro are paid for personally out of our own pockets and the time is donated by friends, family and employees.
Last year we had 32 channels and about 10,000 lights synchronized. This year we have 128 channels and about 35,000 lights. We hope you enjoy the show.
The Johnson family will be putting on our Christmas light show this year, despite the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion. This year, Vaudreuil- Dorion's city council informed us in November that they did not want us raising money for the Montreal Children’s Hospital. In fact, they threatened to sue us if we did. When we tried to come to a compromise concerning our Christmas lights and/or charitable activities, we received the same response, threats of fines and legal action.
As a result, we will be presenting the show at 2569 Equestrian, St. Lazare, QC. After speaking with officials at St. Lazare and the local neighbors, we found them to be much more receptive and appreciative of our endeavors.
Thanks again.
Just as we did last year, we will be accepting monetary donations for the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation. 100% of the money raised goes to the Montreal Childrens Hospital Foundation.
